Lac d'Allos randonnée circulaire par Col de l'Encombrette (Été / Summer)

A circular tour of Lac d'Allos with a side trip to Col de l'Encombrette. Starting in the car park at the end of route D226, this is not particularly strenuous and one of the loveliest hikes I've ever done thanks to the wonderful views and bountiful wildlife. Highly recommended!

NOTE: The D226 is only partially open in the winter and spring months, meaning you must start the hike further down in those seasons. It seems to reopen sometime in June. I also did a hike up to lac d'Allos in spring when the road was closed. You can find details here.
