Tokyo vs fuji English version
I start the trekking around 21:30 at evening for get to the top at the sunrise. Waiting to start the trek, I meet a French couple and two brothers from Uruguay that they want to do the same.
On the high season (July and august) there is a lot more services, but there is much more people... (here the Track). The last part begin to be to cold because the wint. I’m luky to have my super jacket that I’ve been carrying.
Climb the Fuji is so spiritual for the Japanese, and I understand. The sunrise at 3777m with a ocean of clouds in yours feeds and without slept it was very special.
Going down was hard as well, and the going back to Tokyio I did by bus (2.5 hours).

Molt difícil
I've done this train in mid-September, days after the season. The weather was perfect and although we walked for most of the trail inside a cloud, the top was clear and crisp.
Buses run from Matsumoto starting 8:40 AM and the last one (only during September) is at 17:50. Leaving only 10 hours for the whole circuit.
The authorities really don't want tourists to climb off-season: They block paths and cover the signaling posts, but just keep going.
The way down has a tricky, misleading part BEWARE. We missed the turn and had to backtrack.
