a prop de Ech Chaara, Mont-Liban (Lebanon)

It starts next to Faqra ruins.

Faqra, approached through a labyrinth of limestone formations known as “houses of ghosts,” is known for its temples and its good skiing. The temple site is also the venue of a summer cultural festival. The temples of Qalaat Faqra at 1,550 meters are the most extensive Roman ruins of all Mount Lebanon.
The starting point of this trail is marked by an LMT sign.

On this trail during this time of the year (22 December), you will be able to see an amazing small waterfall directly after the abandoned restaurant.

After the waterfall i was trying to explore the site a bit but you could definitely use the LMT marks leading towards an abandoned factory.

Once you pass that make sure to follow the LMT signs towards the apple trees until you reach the riverbed.

You will have to cross the river and use the canal towards another land also with apple trees.

Once there, the ascent begins so you can reach a dirt road (i was exploring the area, make sure to stick with the regular trail markings).

Enjoy the scenery as you can see Beirut and all surrounding areas.
