Descripció de l'itinerari
A truly outstanding walk in the remotest Valley of Snowdonia. Cwm Eigiau has been used as trainees' area by Outdoor centres, Duke of Edinburgh award, mountaineering clubs etc. We start from the parking area, we bypass meynllyn Lake on the right at a far distance on the way to Carnedd Llewellyn. Some scrambling is required on the way up Bwlch Eryl Farchog to reach the summit of pen yr Helgi Du. We walk down and up Pen llithrig y wrach. We descend towards a quarry until we meet a dirtroad leading back to the parking area. The walk should be completed on a clear day.
