Depending on weather this can be an easy thing, but sometimes wind and currents can make it a little tricky. A lovely trip anyways. Depending on the tide you might be able to walk around Haycock island, which is what I did. It's also possible to snorkel on the island's reef, but it's also possible that crocs and sharks are around, so be careful about that. Also, in summer, wear a stinger suit, stingers/jellyfish can be deadly and are way more common (during stinger season) than crocs or sharks.
