a prop de Crescent Beach, British Columbia (Canada)
The NE part of track follows dike paths through a bird migration area, including Blackie Spit. There is also a hobby farm area with birdhouses.
The SW part of track goes along the popular shoreline walk, to the village of Crescent Beach. At low tide can extend route out into Boundary Bay on mud flats and sand bars, and go swimming or wading. Watch for tide coming in quickly, can get stranded if not paying attention. Plenty of ice cream places, fish and chips, and many more options along the Crescent Beach high street.
The parking near Blackie Spit can get busy on a nice day.
Be prepared for a wait to access or exit the parking lot area on a nice day.
In front of the Surrey Sailing Club, with scheduled regattas.
Also a popular area for kayaking.
