This track has several points where I went off trail to practice trailbreaking. Track logged 02/21/2011. Directions and Description: I80 East Boreal Exit: Turn left (right will take you into the Boreal ski parking lot) where the road dead ends. Stop at the Boreal Inn to pick up a Snow Park permit- cost $5 per vehicle. Park somewhere along the road past the Boreal Inn (This road ends at the parking area for the snow park.) Heading back the way you drove in go under the freeway, then head up the hill towards Castle Pass. From there head out to the approximate area where the Donner Lake Rim Trail connector heads out from the road and make your way over to Summit Lake.
